A spokesperson for ABC has denied a new report from Page Six claiming that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will end in 2027.

“[This] information is inaccurate. Any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative,” the spokesperson said.

Kimmel, who returns from his annual summer vacation with new episodes beginning Tuesday night, has operated on year-to-year contracts in his recent deals. The late-night host of 22 years has frequently mused about the possibility of stepping away, including during a recent appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, where he explained, “I’m never going to stop doing things. It’s just a different scenario.”
