Editorial Standards
The principles and practices that govern every story we publish. Maintained for our readers, our sources, and the credentialing bodies that recognize Seduire Media as a professional editorial outlet.
Editorial Ethics Statement
Seduire Media is committed to honest, accurate, and independent journalism. Our editorial team operates under a published code of conduct grounded in the standards of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ): seek truth and report it, minimize harm, act independently, and be accountable and transparent.
Every article published on Seduire Media is reviewed for factual accuracy, fair representation, and editorial integrity before publication. Reviews, interviews, and reporting reflect the honest assessments of our writers — never the preferences of advertisers, partners, or third parties.
Independence Declaration
Seduire Media is an editorially independent publication. No advertiser, sponsor, brand partner, or third party has the ability to influence editorial decisions, dictate coverage, alter reviews, or approve content prior to publication.
Editorial leadership reports solely to the publisher and is insulated from commercial operations. Coverage decisions are made on news value and editorial merit alone.
Corrections & Clarifications Policy
Seduire Media corrects errors promptly and transparently. When a factual error is identified — by a reader, source, or our editorial team — the correction is made directly within the article and an editor’s note is appended at the bottom describing what was changed and when.
For substantive errors, the original wording is preserved within the correction note. Clarifications are issued when an article is factually accurate but its meaning could be misunderstood. To report an error, contact corrections@seduiremedia.com.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Seduire Media writers, editors, and contributors are required to disclose any personal, financial, or professional relationship that could create — or appear to create — a conflict of interest with the subject of their coverage.
Writers may not cover individuals, companies, or productions in which they hold a financial stake or close personal relationship. When unavoidable, the relationship is disclosed within the article. Gifts, paid travel, and hospitality are governed by a separate internal policy and disclosed where relevant to the reporting.
Advertising & Editorial Separation
Seduire Media maintains a strict separation between editorial content and commercial content. Advertising, sponsored content, and brand partnerships are clearly and conspicuously labeled as such — typically with a ‘Sponsored’, ‘Paid Partnership’, or ‘Presented by’ designation at the top of the content.
Sponsors and advertisers have no input on editorial coverage, no preview rights to editorial content, and no ability to suppress unfavorable coverage. Our commercial team operates independently from our editorial team and the two do not share decision-making.
Source Protection Policy
Seduire Media honors confidentiality agreements with sources who request anonymity for legitimate reasons — including risk of professional retaliation, personal safety concerns, or contractual restrictions.
We grant anonymity sparingly and only when the information is of clear public interest and cannot be obtained on the record. Anonymous sources are vetted by editorial leadership, and their identities are protected to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not reveal confidential sources to advertisers, partners, or third parties under any circumstance.
