DJ Mag has once again teamed up with Bridges for Music to host a fundraising campaign around this year’s Top 100 DJs poll results.
The initiative follows last year’s fundraiser, which saw 42 artists from the Top 100 DJs donate a combined £170,832, making it the largest single fundraising campaign in Bridges for Music’s history.
Simon Kelly, COO of DJ Mag, said: “Everyone at DJ Mag feels incredibly proud of what we achieved with Bridges for Music last year. Seeing artists from across the dance music spectrum come together to fund education for young people from under-served communities shows what our industry can achieve together.”
Every artist in the 2026 poll is being invited to celebrate their inclusion in the poll by sponsoring the education of at least one young person from an under-served community at the Bridges for Music Academy in Langa, South Africa.
Yesterday David Guetta, the current World’s No.1 DJ officially kickstarted the campaign with a pre-launch donation and a rallying call to his fellow artists. “I’m proud to be the first DJ to get behind this year’s campaign” he said, “and I’d love to see more artists from the Top 100 DJs join me. Being part of this community comes with a responsibility to give something back, and if we can help young people build a future through music and creativity, that’s a beautiful thing.”
Bridges for Music is a non-profit organisation providing creative education to young people from under-resourced communities. Its Academy combines music training with personal and professional development, helping students develop skills for work within music and the wider creative industries.
Valentino Barrioseta, CEO and founder of Bridges for Music added: “The incredible success from last year’s campaign not only helped reach many more students and strengthen our programs, but it also sent a wave of optimism and hope to young people who felt seen and heard by the best DJs in the world, even if geographically far away. That’s the power of the dance music community and we are humbled to continue building on that with DJ Mag”
