Ahadadream has released his debut album, ‘P ★ K I’. Listen to the full project below.

Out today (18th September) via Island Records and Dialled In Records, the LP features collaborations with Eliza Rose, Capo Lee, Skrillex, Priya Ragu, Ance, Jamakabi & Dismantle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sidd, and Jolie P & Lamsi. It also includes the previously released singles ‘Make Space’ and ‘Put That Banger On Next’, alongside the new single ‘Koi Si’ featuring Ance.

Speaking about the album’s title, ‘P ★ K I’ (pronounced ‘Pee-Star-Kay-Eye’), Ahadadream said: “This is a word which I grew up in Pakistan knowing to be nothing but positive, but was confronted with the harmful context it holds when I moved to the UK. I’ve chosen to reframe it within a positive body of work that is all about joy, celebration, pride and self-love, keeping my younger self in conversation with the artist I am in the present day.”

Ahead of the album’s release, Ahadadream returned to Pakistan for a show in Lahore with local cultural collective Dosti. He’ll follow the release with a run of live dates beginning at Refuge in Brooklyn tomorrow (Saturday 19th September), before heading to Toronto, Denver, Vancouver, Bordeaux, Cardiff, Lagos, Washington DC, Detroit, Perth and Melbourne. The run will conclude at Australia’s Strawberry Fields festival on 21st November.
