Introspekt and Vanessa Tha Finessa link up for new single, ‘On Go’: Listen

Introspekt and Vanessa Tha Finessa have linked up on a new single. You can check ‘On Go’ below.

The Los Angeles-based artists’ joint release is a dark, hypnotic workout that owes as much to 2-step as it does electro. The hybrid cut is accompanied by a video from Edwin Arzu, a creative director and musician also working out of California’s biggest city.

Landing via the hugely influential UK label Tempa, ‘On Go’ is the first in a string of Introspekt cuts slated to arrive via the imprint over the coming weeks and months. These come just over a year after it carried her acclaimed debut album, ‘Moving The Center‘.

“After running this one as a dub over the summer I’m so so pleased to finally be sharing this one with the world properly,” said Introspect in an Instagram post. “Was such an absolute pleasure to work with Vanessa on this.”

You can revisit Introspekt’s Recognise mix and interview with DJ Mag here.

Tempa is considered one of the most important labels in the formation and development of dubstep, with founder Neil Jolliffe amongst the figures often cited by music historians as helping coin the genre term itself. In 2024, the entire back catalogue was made available on Bandcamp.
