Kazuha’s beauty routine starts once she gets out of bed—usually 20 minutes before she has to leave for the day. The 22-year-old Le Sserafim member is about to embark on a world tour, joining bandmates Sakura Miyawaki, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, and Hong Eunchae for a string of country-hopping, first-time dates across Europe. And so her beauty regimen is pretty speedy and sleek.
First comes cleanser, worked into the skin with a sweeping, circular motion, followed by toner pads that she lets sink in while she picks out her outfit. “Sakura is very into skin care,” Kazuha says of her bandmate. “She has so many products that I’ve never seen before, so I get information from her. However, I still keep it simple.”
Next is a quick gua sha–inspired massage. Although she usually reaches for a traditional gua sha tool, today she improvises with her hands because she left her go-to tool at home. Using her knuckles, she massages across her scalp and brow bone to release tension. “My eyes get puffy easily,” she explains. “I believe loosening tension in the scalp like this helps reduce puffiness around the eyes.”
A generous spritz of face mist follows, along with a layer of hydrating hyaluronic acid. “These days, when I do concerts, I’m performing for two and a half to three hours,” she says. “I’m sweating a lot, so I think about skin care a lot more.”
She seals everything in with a rich moisturizer before applying Vidivici tinted sunscreen, which she often wears on its own. When she opts for foundation, she sticks with Vidivici again, adding just a few dots of concealer over any blemishes and blending everything with her fingertips. “It really brightens up my skin,” she says of her complexion. “Even when I’m onstage, instead of heavy makeup looks, I prefer something softer. If the makeup I usually do is about a 10, my makeup when I’m onstage is about 100.” To finish her base, she dusts translucent powder over her forehead and nose to cut shine, then mixes contour shades to softly sculpt her jawline and cheekbones.
For her eyes, Kazuha creates one of her signature aegyo-sal looks, subtly defining beneath the lower lash line to make the eyes appear larger and brighter. A Chanel eye shadow palette adds soft dimension, while eyeliner extends just past the iris for a naturally elongated shape. Brown mascara and a few squeezes of the eyelash curler keep the look fluttery rather than dramatic. She taps a liquid pink blush onto the apples of her cheeks, shapes her brows with powder and an angled brush, then finishes with a swipe of moisturizing Maquillage lip balm, a peach-toned lip tint, and a touch of leftover blush dabbed onto both her lips and eyelids for a cohesive wash of color.
With a months-long world tour ahead, Kazuha knows she’ll inevitably run out of her favorite products—but she’s already looking forward to experimenting with some face masks and new things. She and the other Le Sserafim members plan to make plenty of Sephora stops. “It’s my first time going to Europe on tour,” she says. “After studying ballet in the Netherlands, I came back to Korea wondering how my life would move forward. Now I’m returning to the Netherlands with my friends, and it feels very full circle.”
Although the set list stays the same from city to city, Kazuha likes to keep each performance visually fresh by switching up her beauty look. “I’ll try new concepts all the time,” she says, using Pinterest to organize her references. “A softer look, sophisticated, hip.”
