Trystan Colon‘s career has come to an end. The six-year veteran was placed on the Jaguars’ reserve/retired list on Tuesday, per a team announcement.
Colon entered the league as an undrafted free agent. His first three seasons were spent as a member of the Ravens, and during that time he totaled 20 appearances. During his first trip to the open market, Colon joined the Jets for what proved to be a brief period. He was waived during 2023 roster cuts and claimed by the Cardinals.
Colon wound up playing out two separate deals in Arizona, and he handled a larger workload over that time than he did with Baltimore. The Missouri product totaled 11 starts and 709 offensive snaps as a member of the Cardinals. Colon had primarily operated as a center with the Ravens, but he worked almost exclusively at both guard spots during his tenure in Arizona.
Colon spent the 2025 season as a member of a Lions offensive line which dealt with a number of issues over the course of the year. He made four starts and 12 appearances, seeing time at center but also left guard along the way. The Jaguars signed him in June, setting up a summer in which Colon would be able to compete for a backup spot along the interior of the offensive line.
Instead, Colon’s attention will now turn to his post-playing days given today’s news. His NFL tenure has come to an end at the age of 28. Colon made a total of 63 appearances and amassed roughly $6.7MM in career earnings.
