Avicii’s final show to be marked by special Stockholm event on 10th anniversary

Avicii’s final-ever show will be commemorated with a special anniversary event in Stockholm next week.

Organised by Avicii Experience and taking place at The Node on Friday 28th August, the event will mark 10 years since the late DJ and producer’s last performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza on 28th August 2016.

Avicii had announced earlier that year that he would retire from touring, and subsequently parted ways with his longtime management team. He died in Oman in April 2018, aged 28.

The anniversary event will feature two film screenings, alternating every 30 minutes. The first, Avicii — My Last Show, follows his final performance at Ushuaïa, while the second features footage from his final show in Sweden at Tallriken in Malmö on 5th August 2016.

The two screenings at the venue will run from 4PM-9PM (CEST). Guests will not need to book a specific screening slot, but must be subscribed to the Avicii Experience newsletter and register in advance to attend.

You can sign up for Avicii Experience’s newsletter, and find more information on the anniversary event, here.

Hardwell recently paid tribute to Avicii at Tomorrowland 2026 by wearing the late artist’s touring jacket during his One World Radio interview.

The Belgian festival also featured an Avicii tribute experience in the form of a 144-square-metre immersive installation space celebrating the late Swedish artist’s career and legacy.
