David Guetta has kickstarted DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026 fundraising campaign with a donation to Bridges for Music, which will support their students across the next 12 months.
The current World’s No.1 DJ is the first artist to contribute to this year’s campaign — which officially launches tomorrow — to support education for young people from under-served communities at the Bridges for Music Academy in Langa, South Africa.
DJ Mag has once again partnered with Bridges for Music for a fundraising campaign ahead of the Top 100 DJs poll results. Every artist in this year’s poll will be invited to celebrate their place in the poll by sponsoring the education of at least one student from an under-represented community.
The initiative follows last year’s fundraiser, which saw 42 of the Top 100 DJs artists donate a combined £170,832 — making it the largest single fundraising campaign in Bridges for Music’s history.
“I’m really happy to support this campaign,” said Guetta in an official statement. “Music has given me so much in my life, and I believe in the importance of transmission – sharing what we’ve learned and helping the next generation find their own path through music and creativity. The work being done at the academy is incredible, and I hope my donation can make a real difference to the students over the next year.
“I’m proud to be the first DJ to get behind this year’s campaign, and I’d love to see more artists from the Top 100 DJs join me. Being part of this community comes with a responsibility to give something back, and if we can help young people build a future through music and creativity, that’s a beautiful thing.”
Bridges for Music is a non-profit organisation providing creative education to young people from under-resourced communities. Its Academy combines music training with personal and professional development, helping students develop skills for work within music and the wider creative industries.
Valentino Barrioseta, CEO and founder of Bridges for Music added: “The incredible success from last year’s campaign not only helped reach many more students and strengthen our programs, but it also sent a wave of optimism and hope to young people who felt seen and heard by the best DJs in the world, even if geographically far away. That’s the power of the dance music community and we are humbled to continue building on that with DJ Mag”
