Subtronics Blurs Genres in Stunning New Single, ‘Fall Back to Nothing’

The track is out today via Subtronics’ own label, Cyclops Recordings.

Subtronics is back with ‘Fall Back To Nothing,’ a haunting single featuring singer-songwriter Saint Monet.

Today’s release finally delivers a studio version to fans who have been chasing the track through the dubstep superstar’s festival sets since early-2026. It first surfaced during his FIBONACCI tour before growing into a standout moment during his Coachella debut on the festival’s iconic Sahara stage, where he stood as its highest-billed dubstep act. That momentum carried into summer, pulling strong reactions at the inaugural ‘GRIZTRONICS At The Gorge’ event alongside GRiZ.

Saint Monet’s lyricism centers the track on a relationship she can feel slipping away: “We’re running out of days before I watch you travel away / Can you hold me as we fall back to nothing?” Subtronics meets her with a euphoric drop, chopping her vocals into a frenetic four-on-the-floor rhythm before bringing the track home with a signature distorted dubstep sequence.
